HOUSE CALLS
If your cat(s) and/or dog(s) are really “fur persons” and you want the best possible advice and care then this is a service in which you will be interested. A house call reduces the stress on both you and your pets. In the comfort of your home I will sit down with your one on one to discuss what is really important to keep your pet happy and healthy. House calls are made within a 15 mile radius of the 40/42 intersection.
SERVICES
I will be offering comprehensive physical examinations and vaccine protocols tailored to your individual pet and its lifestyle and health status. Healthy Pets Mobile Vet will offer junior wellness profiles, adult baseline profiles and especially important, senior profiles.
Blood and urine profiles allow me to catch subtle health changes early and allow the development of an individualized senior health plan to keep your cat .and/or dog “children’s” quality of life at its utmost. I also offer “in-house” Feline Leukemia/FIV and Heartworm Testing so you will have immediate results. Other routine services available include: fecals, urinalysis, skin scrapings, ear cytologies, fine needle aspirates, etc. If your pet has an eye problem, ear infection, skin irritation and or urinary problems all of these will be able to be handled in the comfort of your own house..

MICROCHIPPING
Microchipping is a professional way to identify your pet and it's proven safe and effective. The AVID FriendChip is a tiny microchip that contains a personal, one of a kind identification number distinguishes your pet as a special member of your family. The microchip is so tiny that it fits
through a hypodermic needle. Just like a vaccination, it's injected under the skin of your pet where it remains safely for life. This inexpensive procedure can be done anytime and protect virtually any pet you love. This is real protection that can't fade or fall off.
If you pet becomes lost and is found by a participating shelter, they'll check him for a microchip with a special scanner. When the shelter find the chip number, then call AVID's 24 hour hotline at 800-336-2843 the 24 hour hotline and search the PETtrac database to locate you, your veterinarian and your alternate contact and your pet comes home to be reunited with you, his family. Now you can enjoy real peace of mind. Scanners are provided free of charge to any shelter that requests one.

HOURS OF OPERATION
To ensure ability to get to each client and patient in a timely manner, appointments will be scheduled on weekdays based on clients’ home locations. Hours of operation will be 3 days a week, first appointments starting around 9 AM and last appointment around 4 PM. Some limited night and weekend appointments are available when scheduled in advance (higher fees will apply).
PAYMENT
For your convenience Healthy Pets Mobile Vet will accept cash and checks. Payment is expected at the time of services rendered. Local bank checks over the number 500 will be accepted.
